Amanda R. Abeln-Overs is an associate in the firm’s litigation department. She represents both public entities and private clients at all stages of litigation at the trial and appellate court levels.

Her practice includes breach of contract, torts, employment, wage and hour, and public contract claims. She is a Deputy City Attorney for the cities of Coronado and Solana Beach and advises other firm municipal and special district clients.
Ms. Abeln-Overs graduated from the University of Arizona College of Law, where she served as the Senior Managing Editor of the Arizona Journal of International and Comparative Law. While in law school, she externed for the Health and Education Section at the Arizona Attorney General’s Office and for the Honorable David S. Bury at the U.S. District Court for Arizona. Prior to law school, Ms. Abeln worked as a litigation legal assistant on securities and complex-litigation matters at a large firm in Boston.
